She + Him – In The Sun

So I’ve been in my room all morning, half cleaning, half outfit fitting, when I suddenly remembered that the new She & Him album came out this week! I’ve been waiting for this since December last year and completely forgot about it until today! That’s how scattered-brained I am these days. Anyhow, I just watched the video for In The Sun, and naturally I want to rip off all of ZD’s clothes and take them for myself. She never fails at picking the most lovely little girly dresses! Now I must Google my brains out until I find the designer/brand/stockist and get my hands on the real thing, or the next best knockoff :)

Also, I’ve been looking for/putting together some summer outfits to pack for my trip! I hear it is incredibly hot (El Niño style) there and will need to bring the most powerful SPF sunscreen I can get my hands on. Sigh. I am not a fan of heat. But I am a fan of lovely short sleeve dresses. How to make the two work…. Hmmm.

Secret Garden Tea Party

Today, the girls (Lilly & Karen) and I went for high tea at the Secret Garden Tea House in Kerrisdale! We had been planning to visit this place for quite a while now for Girls Day Out but the last time we went, it was super packed and we didn’t have a reservation. But today we finally got to go in and have some amazing tea and pastries! For $25 you get refillable tea of your choice and a 3 tier platter with sweet and savoury selections :) It didn’t seem like it would be enough food for the 3 of us, but surprisingly it was!

The atmosphere inside was really nice! I was looking around at the wall decor and space layout and was mentally taking notes on how to adapt the style for my bedroom! I can feel a redecoration coming up soon! :)
