The rainy days have come upon Surrey again and I’m rather excited about it! Autumn is my favourite season because of the obvious climate change (love the cold! + the falling leaves), but also because of the clothes I get to wear! Today, I took advantage of the wet weather and wore my new rain boots to work. They are so comfortable and surprisingly warm for being so thin and plastic-y.

The satchel I’m wearing is from Value Village and was only $5.99! I’ve been eyeing a similar satchel from Derek Alexander but didn’t have enough courage to part ways with $200 of my dollars. Thank goodness my brother spotted this with his good eye! It was well hidden underneath a pile of overly used backpacks. And the awesome part is that it is still in great condition! Not a single scratch on the leather! All I had to do with wipe it down with Lysol wipes and put a ziplock bag full of espresso grounds inside to get rid of the old-bag-smell (though it didn’t reek that bad). And voila, good as new! :)

Yesterday, I had a meeting with a client at Metrotown and decided to squeeze in some shopping afterwards with my Mummy. We didn’t have a whole lot of time before the mall closed, so I decide to take her into Forever21, so she could see the clothes and I can finally make a purchase! (Last time I was there, it was crazy!) I was more interested in getting some accessories (because I don’t have very many) than looking through clothes.

XXI is definitely not high end, but for what their clothes & accessories are, the prices are affordable! For under $35.00 I bought 6 pieces of jewelry! :)

I absolutely love the sparkly headband on the left and the blue pendant on the right is one of my favourite buys! Though I’m not quite sure who or what photo I should put inside :P

I definitely need to go back and look through more accessories! :) Perhaps I should drop by right when the mall opens, so there is less people! Even though the place wasn’t packed, the line up at the fitting room and cash register were really long! Maybe another trip tomorrow? :)

Love her hair. Love her style. Lover everything she wears! Especially those really cute vintage dresses :)
