So a few weeks ago, I went a little crazy at the mall and splurged on some awesome makeup! There is something surely hypnotic about those black & white Sephora stripes that lured me in, and a hefty bill later, I found myself leaving the store, my makeup all done and a big smile on my face! Damn sales people, I fall easily to the promise of soft, sparkly skin, smokey eyes and glossy lips! But what girl wouldn’t? Hopefully I don’t find anything else I want in Sephora, because makeup certainly doesn’t come cheap! :S

I found this little book called “Be Happy” in the sale box at the grocery store. It was too cute not to buy! And full of little quotes and tips to help you live a happy life. Corny – I know! But it made me smile :)

Sometimes we just need to lighten up!

The weather outside is unusually gorgeous! The sun in shining bright, the sky is blue and overall a lovely day :) I wish I had somewhere to go to enjoy it, but instead I’m sitting here in my room, blogging (which isn’t that bad, I suppose.) I can kinda see the sunshine from my tiny window :)

Today I had a little bit of time to take some photos of new clothes I purchased using gift cards from Christmas. I was hoping that $100 would last me at least a couple visits to the store, but I was soo wrong. Let’s just say that $100 can buy you anything these days..

And it’s official: My new favourite wardrobe colour is Navy Blue :)

I also bought this really cute treasure box. Again, with the Navy blue! I’m not sure what I want to put inside of it yet, maybe potpourri of sorts or loose buttons from my sewing box. Either way it will be filled with something fun, or cute.
