Now that I have recovered from the immoderate eating that happened on Christmas Day, it’s time to post up pictures!
I got quite a few items from my wishlist, which was awesome! (Good thing I made one!).
My brother got me both Sew U books from Built By Wendy! My New Year’s Resolution is to learn how to sew (though it’s more of a goal than a resolution). I’m hoping they will come in handy as I have never touched a sewing machine before. Each book comes with 3 basic patterns and options on how to alter them for added style! I skimmed through the projects inside and it seems a bit challenging, but the end product looks so awesome that I’m determined to learn it :)

I can imagine myself wearing this lovely outfit from ModCloth at Tea Time with some elderly folks, whilst having a fresh cup of Chai! (I’m really craving a cup right now!). Anyhow, I picked out these little items from ModCloth’s website and submitted it to their When You Wish Upon A List contest (only a few minutes before the deadline). Eyewear worthy of a whirlwind romance played out in a speeding sport car. – Cutler & Gross
With a description like that, who wouldn’t want a pair of Cutler and Gross eyewear?! :)
For months now, I’ve been avoiding my overdue eye exam and playing the waiting game with purchasing new eyewear. It is all simply because I’m not ready to part ways with that much money just yet (with my prescription lens and frames, the grand total almost always equals a nauseating amount) – But after looking through Cutler and Gross’ Spring/Summer 2010 collection, my plans immediately changed! Check out this frame:
And these shades are certainly on the Wishlist for Christmas! :)
